This is one of my favorite songs from the yesteryear type thing that happened when I was younger and I’d be driving in the car with my mom and I would pretend that I didn’t like whatever she was listening to on the radio, but the fact was I loved it. Shamefully I’d say “this isn’t Bruce Springsteen” and GO WEST would keep blasting the hooks and it would remind everyone in the world of PRETTY WOMAN and Julia Roberts… and for like just this one time - just this one song, it was okay that it wasn’t Bruce… But I didn’t say it aloud.
And now these amazing musicians are just covering the face out of it, and here I am - jaw on the floor happy and completely pleased that I could see it happen.
